What we all feared would happen again sometime soon, has happened. With lots of sadness I have to announce the end of Bionicle’s second generation.
It will discontinue at the end of 2016, so I guess we will get one final line of maybe heroes and Makuta (since he made an appearance in the “Journey to one” series).
Lego has not yet announced what or if there will come something to replace the franchise for 2017 with a similar building mechanism.
my possible prediction is that they will continue to make these buildable figures for movies (like they are currently doing with Star Wars).
