Lego games will always have a special spot in my heart. Lego Racers, from 1999, being my first actual game I played followed by Lego Star Wars from 2005 makes it hard not to remain busy with the games that got me hooked on the experience. Luckily, Lego is still making them, for kids of today to play around with their virtual toys.
In about two weeks from now, Lego Marvel Avengers (video game) will be released.
Unlike the Lego Marvel Super Heroes video game from 2013, this game will be based on the movies which is the first time for a Lego Marvel video game and continues hereby the trend of Lego Star Wars, Lego Indiana Jones, Lego Batman and Lego Harry Potter.
The game will feature many returning characters, but also characters from the most recent Age of Ultron and Ant-Man movies and the upcoming Captain America Civil War.
Lego Avengers will also release free DLC’s for the Ant-Man movie as well as for Captain America Civil War.
The Captain America Civil War pack will be released on launch and will include 9 new characters
- Captain America
- Iron Man (Mark 46 Armor)
- Black Panther
- Winter Soldier
- War Machine
- Scarlet Witch
- Agent 13 (Sharon Carter)
The Ant-Man pack that releases later this year will include
- A level based on the game
- 11 new characters
- Ant-Man (Scott Lang)
- Ant-Man (Hank Pym)
